Almost everyone would like to know what the future holds, specially in the times we are living in.
With economic uncertainty, violence at intolerable levels, environmental issues always in the headlines, natural catastrophes increasing, political corruption rampant, drug abuse, sexual immorality and family breakdown increasing.
Now the Corona Virus pandemic has caused additional anxiety, hardship, and even an increase in violence as many face new health concerns, loss of financial stability, and restricted freedom. Most countries have added crippling debt to their already overburdened national and local deficits that will be very difficult, if not impossible to repay.

Is there hope for the future, and  where can we find it?

The Christian Bible, both Old and New Testaments, give a great amount of detail about the future, and unlike other sources of future predictions, it has a perfect record of accuracy in the past, so we can trust it where it speaks of future events. It comes from God The Creator, and has been delivered to us by prophets of God's choosing under clear direction from His Holy Spirit.

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God" (2 Tim 3: 16)
"Prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved
by the Holy Spirit." (2 peter 1: 21).

One of the biggest difficulties with Bible prophecy is understanding its meaning.
It is not really very difficult to understand if a few simple rules are followed, and we come to it
without preconceived  ideas.

Unfortunately the Christian church is almost silent on this important Biblical subject at a time
when the signs the Bible predicted are present, and obvious, as never before in history,
(we will examine that elsewhere in this web site).

There are some reasons why the subject is avoided.
     (a) The subject has several different views, and can be controversial and divisive by some with
strong views who lack Christian tolerance.
        (b) Some people have been "turned off" by unwise and even unbiblical teaching or books on the subject which go too far, by trying to force Bible references to fit today's news events
and personalities.
When the year 2000 came near, there was an unwise expectation that this would usher in the Rapture and /or the revealing of the Antichrist. (actually a Biblical year is a lunar year, not a solar year as we have come to accept, so the year 2000 in our calculation has no Biblical significance).
So, since the year 2000 there has been an even greater silence among Christian believers.

It is my hope and prayer that this web site will help individuals understand and get excited that
Jesus is coming back, and very soon, and some who read this will turn to Him for forgiveness
and be ready when He comes.

In this web site I have tried to make a difficult and often controversial subject as simple as possible,
and bring together Scriptures which are scattered throughout the Bible, but still keeping them
in their original context.
I hope I have achieved that, and it will be helpful to each reader.

There are other views on the subject, and some of my friends, and Christian brothers and sisters
who I respectand love in Christ are among those who hold other views.
